ridiculous weekend...

this weekend was CRAZY!!! so i went back home friday and then that night i went to club. i left cameron house at about 10:30ish. and then went to eat dessert with jenn. we went to my favorite cafe. when we walked in, people were waving their hands in the back and calling out names. it was the senior commission. they wanted us to sit with them but that would have been kinda awkward even though we know them pretty well it was just that jenn and i were older. lol so then we just sat at our own table. then after that i went back home and i wanted to sleep because i had a LONG saturday and sunday ahead of me.

the next morning i woke up at 7am to get ready because i had to go to cameron house for volunteer orientation. this is a process for the summer for all those that turned in their application to volunteer and for us to get to know them. it was only from 9am to 1 pm. but us summer staff people of coursed stayed after. we then looked over what we did during volunteer orientation and looked at all the volunteer applications and started to place them in which program then which grade. that took a pretty long time. on top of that, we did more training and planning throughout. we were all pretty exhausted. we went out for dinner then when we came back, we had to do more training and planning, but then we all took like an hour nap. that short nap felt really good though. then we did some more work. after like 2 hours, we called it quits for the day. and then 4 of us ended up going out for an adventure. we wanted to crash a prom...but that didnt really happen. we just went to see liane at the hotel. then she ended up also coming with us and we went to eat. we ate at OBW (Original Buffalo Wings). that place was pretty good. then we went back to the hotel to drop liane off, but then she decided to come with us and sleep at cameron house. then we got back to cameron house at about 3:30am and we all pretty much crashed. then we woke up at like 9ish and did some more work. then we went to church and after church there was a New Orleans fundraiser lunch thing. the food was pretty good. then we went back to cameron house and did more, then we left at like 4ish. what a crazy weekend. now i know how the summer is gonna be...i just experienced a little of it, the TIREDNESS!!! =) but im so looking forward to it and im pretty darn excited!!!

even though im about to finish my second year of college, i realized that i really dont like DRASTIC change. i like it when things stay the same. i dont like it when i feel like i am the same person every since i could remember and everybody else around me is changing...whether it be the people i dont really know to like my closes friends. i can totally tell when you would see pictures or just hear stories about them. i wish things could just be the same.

going to college and just moving away was definitely a BIG change and i really didnt like it. i was especially leaving my family behind. and my close group of friends were splitting up going to different colleges. i thought that going to college was going to be similar to when i was going into high school, but boy was i wrong. those 2 changes are totally different. i especially felt out of my comfort zone when going to college. i wasnt going to be with the friends that i knew all my life. to this day...i still dont like it. i think this is why because i felt like when everybody was going off to college, they all knew at least 1 person who was going to the same school as them. and i was like the only person not going to school with someone that i already knew. even now, i still kinda feel that way because i feel like i dont even have any close friends at school with me that i can go to just like my friends when we were all back at home. sometimes i just dream that all my close friends and i would all go to school together...even though thats not a very good idea because we could be clique-ish...this is why i feel like im the one ALWAYS trying to keep in contact with my other friends. sometimes i never know if they even want to keep in contact with me...

the next small change is all my "little" friends are growing up and moving on with their life. they are seniors and moving onto college. the 2 that im really close with, i got to really know them when they were just freshmen in high school and i was a junior, and now they are seniors. its really scary that time flies by so quickly. to robert and liane...i know you guys are moving on in life, but cherish the moments we had with each other and you know i'll always be here for you guys, like your "older sister".

i feel like this is a pretty big change that i noticed. its the relationship between my brother and i. i feel like we were never really that close, but still close enough where we would talk or anything. and when i first went off to college, i think our relationship grew a little stronger, especially when i can home for breaks or whatever. but all of a sudden when he gets a girlfriend (he is still young) it all changes. now when i come home for breaks or whatever, he's the one not home and i am. and when hes home then im not. i felt like this was a big change because he got a girlfriend and he will always be my little brother. but now i dont feel that anymore. its to the point where we cant even talk to each other about that subject. and when our family talks about it when we are all there, it just gets a little awkward.
i just dont like change, even though i know i gotta deal with it in life.

cameron carnival 2010

so this past saturday, i got to go back home!!! YAY it was also the annual Cameron Carnival that happens every year on the first saturday of may. this year was the year of the tiger. and they always have annual shirts and this year, it was a bright orange color. we all looked like we were walking cones. carnival is always so much fun. and this years theme was the natural wonders of the world. carnival is always different and unique every single year, especially with all the different kinds of games that the club kids create and the play is also different every year. the play was done very nicely by the senior commission, epoch. it was very funny and entertaining. they also had a lot of choreography. all their hard-work definitely paid off. when i saw the play, it totally reminded me of when our commission did the play and it brought back so many memories of when we did it. good times good times. =) the games in the yard were all well done with cool and hand-made prizes. the club kids always put a lot of effort into these games and prizes. i definitely know how that feels when i was a club kids myself. dunko was very cool too this year. they usually have the same people who do it every year, but this year, the director of youth ministries was on it and that made it interesting. dunko is always cool to watch because you want to see who will be dunked like how many times. they also had thai ice teas and the jade waffles as usual. they are delicious.... =D and you also cant forget the chicken dinner. not only did i have to help out for the middle school game booth, i also helped out at the summer booth because im on summer staff.

i feel like carnival is like a little reunion. its a time that happens once a year when a lot of alumni's come back for carnival. its so nice to see a lot of people that i havent seen in a long time since i've been part of cameron house since the 2nd grade. and i like to meet up with my own commission...even our commission leaders. even though i go to school far from home, i think that carnival is always worth going back to see everyone. =)

URBAN SHOWCASE 2010

last thursday, it was the 2nd annual urban showcase here at cal poly pomona. since this was the 2nd one, i thought it was more organized than last year. some of the performers were...kevin lien, krystle tugadi, manny garcia, ed rhee, and david choi!! and the dance teams that were there were...team millennia, GRV, barkada modern, sheroes. and our school's taiko team also performed. which was really cool cuz i havent seen a taiko performance in a long time.

relay for life 2010!!!

this past weekend was the relay for life on our campus at cal poly pomona. i've done relay for like for the past 7-8 years back at home in memory of my "sister" who died of cancer at the age of 13. we basically grew up with each other so we acted like we were sisters. so i got the opportunity to participate in this event again, but just at school. i did it with my fraternity, well, we're trying to start it back up at my school. so since we're trying to become another chapter, we decided to do this. i found out that this counts as a fellowship, but then since about 5 of us helped clean up the day after, it gets counted as a service project. it was a lot of fun and we got out name chalked on the ground. and since our group was supporting breast cancer, this is what the chalk art work looked like...

DISNEYLAND with the fam...

so from april 2nd to 6th, my family came down because my brother was on spring break. they drove down friday morning and came and got me when i got out of class. and the puns were there. then we went to lunch and then came back to campus so i can get my stuff packed. we were then off to the hotel in anaheim hills. that night, our parents were meeting up with a old high school friend. so then my, ashlyn and my brother went to islands for dinner. the next morning we woke up and went to disneyland. we went to disneyland on saturday, sunday and monday. i went to all of my classes on monday, then they came and picked me up when i was done, which was like 12:50ish. i love disneyland!! and everything about it. =) it was just an awesome weekend to not have to be at school. i wish it can happen a little more often. tuesday morning, we went to this pancake house that was really really good in anaheim. then we went to downtown disney just to walk around. i decided that i wanted to start collecting something. so the thing that im starting to collect are disney shot glasses. i already have 2 and i cant wait for more. disneyland will never get old... =D

SPRING BREAK 2010!!!

so im right now gonna talk about my spring break which was just last week and i thought it was too short. some of the stuff that i did during break was....

- i was a "club" leader again...everytime im back.
- had dessert with jeff, jeremy, carina and kim
- saw a play at my brother's high school with my family. it was really good.
- ate so much good food, home cooked or whatever. =)
- went and helped out at my mom's pre-school for a day.
- hung out with erin and dianna. went to squat & gobble. sat there for like 3 hours talking and then went to tuttimelon. we totally lost tract of time.
- hung out with carina, jeff, jeremy and kim at her house.
- hung out with whoever else...
- i helped supervise an overnight at cameron house for the club kids that i usually help with when im back.
- i baked/made so many things...almond jello (3 times), brownies (1 time), lemon bars (2 times), and chocolate covered strawberries/bananas/apples (2 times)
- i was suppose to hang out with some other people on my last night, but that didnt happen. but i did get to try a creme brulee from the food cart in SF b/c there was an event where there were so many other food carts and my friend brought it to me. =)

this was about it. for about a weeks worth of break...

so the day after my birthday, ashlyn stayed and then went back down to SD at night. after my last class of the winter quarter, ashlyn and i went to ontario mills. it wasnt how we expected it because a lot of people told me that ontario mills is really nice. to me, it was just a mall, but it was so big that i got tired really fast. i kinda rather have gone to victoria gardens cuz that outdoor mall is really nice. anyways...after shopping for a little, we went to an all you can eat sushi place. it was pretty good for an all you can eat. between the 2 of us, we ate sooooo much.

my 20th birthday...

this past thursday, march 11th, it was my 20th birthday. it started at 12 midnight when i got text messages from my friends and phone calls from carina and ashlyn. then i feel asleep cuz i had to wake up for class. but then i was woken up by lauren and chelsea, my roommate singing "happy birthday" and holding a cake that lauren made. it was so sweet of them. i had to wake up anyways cuz i had to get ready for class. throughout the day, i was getting text messages and phone calls. ashlyn also came up for my birthday. she got up here at around 3:30pm. and then her, chelsea and me went to the universal studios citywalk. we were there for like an hour and a half or so just walking around the strip and taking pictures. then we went to nickel's cafe because we heard that their red velvet cake was really good. and we wanted to try it. so then we just went there to buy 2 slices of the cake. then there was a cart that was selling different kinds of fries. it was really good. then there was a mexican place that we ate at. we shared 3 dishes. then we headed back to school and dropped chelsea off. then ashlyn and i went to apo apo for dessert. it was an awesome night celebrating my birthday with my best friend and my roommate. i still wish i could be back at home to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends, but i guess i'll be doing that during spring break. =D

yesterday was....MY 20TH!!!!

So yesterday, MARCH 11, was my 20TH BIRTHDAY. i still cant believe that im 20. it sounds so old from saying....19. i'll write more about what i did on birthday sometime over this week... =D

a quickie trip...

so this past saturday, i kinda took an unexpected trip to irvine. it started with waiting for jeffrey go to come pick me up after his dragon boat practice. i felt kinda bad because his practice was in long beach and then he had to go back to irvine to drop people off than he came to pomona to pick me up. he got here around 3:30pm. then we drove back to irvine. as we were going back to irvine, it was raining. in the car ride, we got to catch up on some things because we havent talked in a long time. then when we got to irvine, jeff had to rush back to his place so he can quickly go to the bathroom, then we went to erin's place and hung out there for a little bit. jeff went back to his place to take a shower while i stayed at erin's place. then i got to have my catch up time with erin, like i had with jeff in the car. its fun catching up with them since i dont see them all that often, only on breaks back at home. then we met up with chelsea and her parents and genny and their friends to go eat dinner. we ate at a korean tofu house. it was really good. then chelsea and i went back to school. i kinda wish i could have stayed a little longer since i was only there for a little bit. so this was a fun and kinda unexpected mini trip to irvine. this is like the first time i went to irvine since last year, when i went pretty often. =)

FINALLY!!!!

i finally got to register for classes. im so relieved that its over cuz now im not so stressed...except the quarter is about to come to an end. only 3 more weeks then finals week....ahhhh. well, my schedule for next quarter looks like...

monday/wednesday/friday: 8-9am (PLS) 9:15-10:20am (chinese); 11:45am-12:50pm (com)
tuesday/thursday: 3-4:50pm (ews)

this past weekend!!!

this past weekend, i got to go home! i left on thursday night, our original flight was at 8:40pm. but then it got delayed to like 12:35am. which really sucked! so then we decided to get on a standby flight, which we got lucky. we ended up getting on a flight leaving LAX at 10:20pm and got to SFO at 11:30pm. that was a pretty tiring night.

on friday, i went to work with my mom for a little bit. then i got picked up and i went to go see a movie with carina and kim. we saw valentines day. it was a pretty good movie except for one person. i wont spoil it for those of you who havent watched it. after watching the movie, kim left and carina and i headed downtown before going to cameron house for club. we ended up going to the downstairs part of macy's to eat because we were pretty hungry. we sat there for quite awhile talking. then we left and headed to cameron house. it was club and we played true colors and then we massed with with other middle schoolers and played real life fools ball in the yard. that was pretty interesting. i ended the night going home and watching the cameron house play.

saturday, i had lunch with dianna cuz we were both back in the city. we went and ate at pacific catch and stayed there for like 2 hours talking. then we walked all the way to tutti melon. then my mom came a picked me up. when we got home, our house was full of people. there were some cameron house people cuz one of them just moved across from me. it was weird but cool at the same time that they were all over at my house. then that night, we had a family dinner for chinese new year. it was a dinner to close the year cuz sunday was chinese new year. after dinner, i ended up going to dessert with jenn and robert. we went to a place on 7th and geary. it was pretty good. we stayed there for awhile just talking until we were kinda asked to leave. haha

sunday was VALENTINES DAY & CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! year of the tiger. i went to dim sum with my grandparents and went grocery shopping with them. then my mom and i ran some errands in westlake. we went to trader joes and i felt like making chocolate covered strawberries and bananas. so we bought all the stuff so when i went home, i made it.

after making them, carina came and picked me up to go out to dinner. we met up with rachel and dianna. we were all saying that it was our valentines dinner together. LOL anyways, it was fun. then that same night, we had dessert with some other unity members who were back in the city. then we all pretty much left to go home.

monday was the day to go back to school. =( our flight was at 11:10am and we landed around 12:30pm or so. then we went to go eat and then went to target. it was still a pretty tiring day even though we didnt do much. i had an awesome week back at home as always. San Francisco will always and forever be my HOME!!! =)

things thats been on my mind...

lets see whats been happening...

this past saturday was my dad's birthday. so they all went out to dinner that night to celebrate my dad's and cousins bday which is only the day after. i always hate it when im away and they do things. there have been many times when they go out or do something and im not there. and i always feel like im missing out because whenever i come back home, we dont really do anything, which is kinda sad.

this past friday and saturday it was raining. so i didnt really do much. just stayed inside and tried to do some school work. then on sunday, angeline and i went out to eat dinner. we wanted to go to a korean bbq place. so we found one and went there. but then when we went there, we looked on their menu and didnt know that it was SOOOOO expensive. so then we like ordered something ourselves, which was only like 10 dollars. then we were like we're not gonna go back. lol so then we went to APO APO for dessert, cuz you cant go wrong there. haha

i so want it to be thursday already so i can go HOME!!!! =)

APO APO 阿婆阿婆 (the restaurant)

so tonight, angeline and i went out to dinner. we went to a place that we tried last week, but only for dessert. so we decided to go back and eat there for dinner and dessert. the restaurant is called APO APO. a lot of people think im talking about alpha phi omega. this is an asian restaurant in rowland heights. we would definitely go again! =) this is what we ordered...

hey guys! so i've been pretty under the weather. i've been like this for almost a week now and it sucks. because when im in class, i always feel like i just wanna sleep. and since all of last week there was like a storm that passed through and it was very rainy and windy. im glad its all over. hopefully it wont sneak up again and be like that. so i've just been very tried and not really wanting to do anything. i hope im getting better, except i still have this really nasty cough, which is kinda disgusting. well, more to post this weekend!

i also watched american idol online and i was glad to see andrew garcia at the LA audition. its so cool because i actually saw him in person last year at our urban showcase at cal poly pomona. and he is such a great singer, cant wait to see him in the competition! =)

btw...if you're noticing that i've been blogging a lot more, i decided it to be my resolution for the year. i feel like i should blog as much as possible to remember what happens and if anything, i could use this as a form of letting my emotions out or just have to talk/say things.

weekend back home...

so this past weekend was a 3 day weekend because of MLK. So thursday night, my dad came down with my aunt and one of my cousins. they came down for 2 reasons...1) for me to show my school around to my cousin because she applied to CPP and shes going around looking at college campuses; 2) and to drive me back up because we had a family wedding to go to. So thursday night when they got here, i showed them around because if i showed them on friday, majority of the buildings wont be open because it was a furlough day. after showing them around, i packed up and went to the hotel with them. but they havent eaten dinner yet so we went to Bj's first. We all then crashed when we got back to the hotel.

then on friday, we went back to CPP and i showed them the collins school where the restaurant and hotel is. then we went to the farm store and bought some stuff to bring back home. Then we were on our way back home! we got back to the bay area around 7ish. i then got dropped off at cameron house for club. then that night, jeremy came to pick me up so we can go hang out. but we had no idea what to do, so we ended up sitting in carina ip's car. it was me, carina, jeremy and chris. we basically just talked. then i got dropped off at home because the next day was going to be a long day!

during the day on saturday, i ended up going to the zoo with ashlyn because she was watching her little cousins. it was pretty fun because i havent gone to the zoo in a really long time. then i had to be home around 3:30ish because we had a family wedding to go to. we all got ready at home and had to pick up my grandparents. then headed to chinatown for the banquet. this wedding was my uncle (my dad's cousin). when we got there, we had to help finish setting up. then we didnt leave the restaurant till about 11:30pm. it was a pretty long dayyy...

on sunday, i had dim sum with my grandparents. then we went with them to go grocery shopping. then later that day, i hung out with kim yee, carina, and ashlyn. we all met at my house and then headed to safeway to go grocery shopping because we were going to be making dinner and some dessert. our menu was pretty diverse. we had nachos, pasta, pot stickers, steamed broccoli, artichoke, and crescent rolls. then we also made almond jello and rice krispy treats. it was a fun night. we talked a lot and took a lot of pictures. what an awesome night!

week 1 of winter quarter 2010!!

so i finished my first week of winter quarter 2010. its nothing special cuz its just classes. but my schedule isnt that bad. my schedule is...

mondays/wednesdays: 1-2:05pm chinese 271, 2-3:50pm HRT 101

tuesdays/thursdays: 10-11:50am GEO 101, 3-4:50pm EWS 301

fridays: 1-2:05pm chinese 271

but during the week, i also did some other stuff. on thursday, i hung out with my friends because i havent seen them in a long time. we met last year in the dorms. we lived on the same floor and hung out pretty often, so we try to keep seeing each other once in awhile. then that night, i got asked really last minute to go see mary poppins on boardway. it was really good. i already love going to musicals.

on friday, i went to the CPP basketball games. we were playing against Sonoma state. both the guys and girls won. i only really stay to watch the girls game because my friend is on the team and we've been friends since elementary. and its so cool to be going to the same college as each other and seeing her play for a college sports team is pretty exciting cuz i can always say that i know someone on the team. =)

on saturday, angeline and i took the bus out to go shopping. we went to puente hills mall. when we got there, we decided to watch a movie first. we ended up seeing alvin and the chipmunks. it was a really cute movie. then we went shopping. then we caught the bus back towards school, but we went to a tofu house to eat dinner. it was pretty good. i thought it was a pretty eventful day! well, this was my week and i cant wait till this coming week cuz i get to go home!!! =)

happy 2010!!!

hey! i cant believe that its a new year already. time just flies by so fast. i just wanted to wish everybody a happy new year! but first, lets recap on what happened during the year of 2009, shall we?!?

JANUARY-

9th-11th: my unity girls came down to socal. this was an awesome trip that will never be forgotten. we went to disneyland and spent the whole day there. and then we went shopping the next day

23rd-24th: i went to ucla to visit a couple of my friends. it was cool being off of my own campus and hanging out with my friends.

FEBRUARY-

15th: so i have a old classmate from elementary/middle school who goes to pomona college, which is really close to CPP. so her family came down that weekend and they picked me up and we went to disneyland. i spent the whole day with them.

19th-22nd: i got to go home for the weekend since it was president days weekend. i believe when i came home, i baked with kim yee and carina ip like always. it was so much fun baking.

MARCH-

1st: I ended up going to disneyland with some friends

7th-8th: I went to irvine to visit some friends. it was pretty fun.

11th: I TURNED 19!!! i also went to disneyland, and i got to go for free since it was my birthday. i wish i could have gone the whole day, but i still had class...

16th, 19th: i had finals. finals are never fun because you spend so much time studying...but then on the last day of finals, i got to go home for spring break!!

20th: the day i got back, i went to house of prime rib with my family and cousins. it was so good to have real food again.

21st: i hung out with some friends in the city. i think we drank. but i cant really remember since its been kinda awhile. 

25th: i went to visit AFY with rosslyn. that was the first time i've been there in a really long time. it was cool visiting the teachers.

26th: i met people downtown before going to visit Gal. whenever i visit gal, i only visit certain teachers and then go to the counseling office. lol

27th: i hung out with an friend that i only met when he was a freshmen in high school. im only 2 years older than him but we get along really well.

APRIL-

3rd-5th: i went to uci again.

8th: we had an urban showcase at CPP where there were different performances, like dance groups or singers. cathy ngyuen (youtube star) sang and far east movement was there. that was pretty cool.

30th: there was an etiquette dinner at RKR. i actually learned a lot which was pretty cool.

MAY-

1st: i got to go HOME!! but when i got home, i had to go to cameron house for an interview for the summer

2nd: it was cameron carnival!! it was a lot of fun. i was there pretty much the whole day. but it was weird for not being part of it and just going there. it just felt a little different. but it was a lot of fun just seeing people. i then had an interview at a restaurant in the north beach area called house,

15th,19th: i did this mary kay thing with this girl that lived in my building. it was cool to learn more about make-up and what not.

JUNE- 

6th: i had dinner with my roommates. this was the last time that we were gonna be able to hang out cuz then we were gonna have finals then we have to move out.

8th,9th: i only had 2 finals, which was pretty lucky.

12th: i moved out and then drove back up with my dad.

13th: as i got back, i had to go to cameron house for mass training, since i was site supervisor at covenant. after mass training, i went to vince's graduation bbq. 

15th-19th: this whole week was training for the summer programs.

17th,18th: i had my internship at the restaurant, house.

19th, 20th, 22nd: i had my driving lessons.

22nd: it was the first day of camp and thats when everybody has different feelings about it.

24th,25th: internship at the restaurant, house.

25th: it was fellowship at cameron house for the volunteers and the staff.

JULY-

1st,2nd: internship at the restaurant, house

6th: i had a scram week meeting since i was a coordinator for the 1st/2nd/3rd grade department. but it wasnt that bad cuz it was only a week.

8th,9th: internship at the restaurant, house, but i had no idea that this was going to be my last week interning there...

11th: we had scram week training for the the leaders that decided to volunteer for scram week, besides volunteering for the regular summer programs. 

13th-17th: SCRAM WEEK!!!

16th: we had fellowship for the scram week leaders. since it wasnt a big group, we went to malibu for mini golfing and whatever they have there.

17th: that night, after a long week of being a coordinator and being tired every single day, i went clubbing with unity!

23rd: we had a debrief meeting for the scram week staff over dim sum.

24th: alex choy and i helped teach hip hop to a department in solid ground. then that night, there was a unity party at gars house, which was A LOT OF FUN!!! 

28th: we had to teach hip hop to another group again.

31st: i hung out with robert lim again. we always try to hang out sometime cuz im away for school.

AUGUST-

5th,6th: i had another review driving lesson then i took my drivers test and i passed!

7th: last day of camp

8th: it was mass clean up, which is where the volunteers and summer staff come to cameron house and to help clean all of cameron house. every department is assigned to a certain task and they have to finish it.

9th: it was summer service. this is a celebration of the summer and to let the volunteers and summer staff have fun being together.

11th: a little party at katis house. but before that, i had a WEST meeting because i was going to be a cabin leader at west.

16th-21st: WEST!!! =)

27th: unity dinner with vince and taryn. we ate at the delancey street restaurant. then we went to sing karoke. 

28th: i then became a "club leader". so basically whenever i come back, i'll go and help.

SEPTEMBER-

2nd: i had dessert with jeffrey go!

3rd: i had lunch with family friends. we went to a shabu place which was pretty good.

4th: club night! then i hung out with the club leaders. they are really fun to hang around. 

5th: we went to fremont for a friends 50th birthday thing.

6th: it was another family friends 50th birthday thing. then i hung out with casey, jeff and riley.

7th: i hung out with kim yee and carina ip, like we always do.

9th: it was gal day with CH people. this is a new thing that the youth ministries at cameron house is trying to do. so this was the first one and i got to help since im a galileo alumni. its where we just brought pizza for the kids who go to gal and who are part of cameron house.

11th: this was my last club night until whenever i come back

14th,15th: i got to go to the giants game! both games were pretty exciting.

16h: i hung out with dianna lau. we went and watch a movie. i think we saw the 500 days of summer, that was a pretty good movie.

17th: i had dim sum with gal people then that night, i hung out with unity before everybodys going back to school. 

18th: i hung out with robert lim again

20th: i hung out with gar, carina and riley before back to school.

22nd-23rd: we then drove down so i can move in and get ready for school.

24th: school started and i couldnt believe that i was going to be a second year in college. time flies by so fast.

25th: i went to the LA county fair

29th: it was an annual hot dog caper at CPP

OCTOBER-

2nd: EPIC bonfire at corona del mar

4th: hung out with ashley and angeline

9th: lunch at din tai fung

10th: movies/lunch with ashley and angeline

13th: we had an Alpha Phi Omega meeting since we're trying to recharter one at CPP

16th: we then had a sophomore epic hang out.

24th: i went down to SD for a APhiO event. it was a lot of fun!

27th: i hung out with rosslyn because we havent seen each other in a really long time.

28th: i went to knotts scary farm with ashley and angeline. it was pretty scary. i dont think i'll ever go back.

31st: this was the first time ever taking the bus around. angeline and i took a bus to west covina and we went to the mall and went shopping. it was quite an adventure!

NOVEMBER-

3rd: another APhiO meeting

26th-29th: THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!

27th: it was coffee house at cameron house. first, as a commission, we went and ate dinner at gordons family's place then we all headed up together. that was the day we found out that one of our club leaders got engaged!

DECEMBER-

7th: i had all 3 finals on 1 day. it was a pretty tiring day. but i was just glad that i got all my finals done and over with. 

9th: i drove back home with austin.

11th: i went to club and hung out with the 8th graders. then us club leaders had fellowship when club was over. we played white elephant and i ended up getting a pillow that says "cameron house youth ministries, friday night club" and an air mattress. it was a lot of fun.

18th: i went to club again. i was with the 6th & 7th grade girls. then for the leaders fellowship, we played games inside. it was pretty fun!

22nd,23rd: i now have another type of internship. my mom got it for me because the people that im helping, their child goes to my moms preschool. so her thing is basically a baking thing. they are called tiny treats. their stuff is pretty good too. and its a lot of fun.

25th: CHRISTMAS!!! i got a lot of cool stuff. 

26th: we had a family friends thing at someone's house. its always fun with the families! =)

27th: we had a "cousins" dinner before everybody gets busy. then i hung out with unity people as always.

28th: i had a birthday thing to go to. it was aaron's 20th birthday and we went to buca for dinner. then we went to polly anns for dessert and then back to erin dong's house. it was a fun night.

29th: we had a gal girls dinner thing. it was me, alex choy, dianna lau, erin dong, rachel lee, and sam mok. we went to the cheesecake factory in the macy's downtown. it was really nice. we all got dressed up and exchanged christmas presents. its was a fun night.

31st: went to a friends house party for new years eve. now that was a lot of fun.

now that the new year is starting, i hope everything goes good and for me to enjoy my days left of being a teen. because before you know it, i'm going to be 20! hope this year brings me and all of you joy and happiness!! =) lets welcome 2010!!!
